NURSERY SEEDLING EXTRACTOR :
Machine intended to pull out nursery plants. The chassis is made up of a high thickness tubular framework, with a blade on the right hand side in the shape of a U. The highly profiled shape of the blade absorbs little power and easily penetrates the soil. It is made in one piece out of steel highly resistant to abrasion and a high elastic limit. It includes a shaker at the back. This shaker is driven by a variable speed hydraulic engine, which enables adjustment of the frequency of the movement to the type of tree. The gauge wheel helps to maintain an even working depth. The right hand large diameter wheel is located in front of the blade and is used to prepare the way for the blade.
SELECTIVE NURSERY TREE EXTRACTOR : This machine is intended to selectively extract nursery plants of up to a trunk diameter of 10 cm. Extracting may be done in line, periodically on a furrow or locally on a parcel. After extracting, it is possible to shake the plant to remove earth and transport it. The machine is made up of 3 elements :
N.B.: as an option, a vibrating unit to clean the plant
after extraction. The frame is on rigid mounting on the back or the front
of the tractor (the tractor should preferably be narrow, a maximum width
of 1.4 m or a tractor with caterpillar tracks).
Once the plant to be extracted has been chosen, the tractor comes into position to the left of the plant (the wheel at 30 cm from the plant) and when the blade is opposite the plant, the anchoring head is dropped, the course of the blade is set, the earth is cut and lifted with the tree roots. Once the tree has been uprooted, a rapid up and down movement enables the earth to be shaken off. |
