Thanks to two rotors turning in opposite directions
and equipped with flails the B.J. stripper enables stripping of beet,
celery, potatoes carrots, melons, salads, etc. In use of plastic sheeting
the B.J. stripper enables cleaning of plastic after harvesting (melons,
salads, etc.) so as to facilitate recycling of the plastic. The leaves
are finely ground and ejected to the right hand side of the machine,
in the "passe-pied". The first rotor refines the grinding, while the
second finishes off the cleaning.
The B.J. grinder has
several advantages:
- Thanks to the rear tillage system (wheel or roller) the stripper
enables work of high precision and thus avoids damaging the plastic.
- On account of its robust construction it may be used intensively
and collectively (CUMA, etc.).
- Rear wheel path is adjustable.
- Adjustments are few simple and fast.
- It requires little power.
- The flails are very resistant to abrasion. .
- The large diameter wheels facilitate driving on wet or stony
soil.
- Finally due to its design simplicity, maintenance is easy and
cost-effective; its use is therefore economical.
